Mixed recycling
Clean enough to count
Mixed recycling, kept clean enough to count.
Clean cans, plastic bottles, rigid containers and paper — collected together, weighed, and checked for contamination so problems are caught early, not billed later.
A few habits protect the whole load.
Commingled recycling travels together — one contaminated bin can affect everything collected with it.
Flagged, fixed, then re-measured.
What goes in — and what stays out.
One clean commingled stream — so what your team sorts actually gets recycled.
Mixed-recycling questions, answered.
Does everything go in one bin?
Yes — cans, plastic bottles, rigid containers and paper are collected as one commingled stream.
Do containers need rinsing?
A quick rinse is enough. Food residue is the most common reason a load gets flagged.
Why are soft plastics excluded?
Film and soft plastics can't be sorted with rigid containers and paper, so they go in general waste.
Which plastics are accepted?
Plastic bottles and rigid containers marked 1 and 2.
Can cardboard go in with it?
Office paper and magazines can. High-volume cardboard is better split into its own stream, weighed and reported on its own line.
What bin sizes are available?
240 L, 660 L and 1100 L, matched to your volume and site access at quote stage.
