WasteLogic is a New Zealand-owned commercial waste and recycling company serving commercial, care and community sites across Auckland. We combine practical collection services, waste-stream measurement and monthly reporting to help organisations understand what happens to their waste and where improvements may be possible.
Our approach is straightforward: collect reliably, measure what we can verify, report it clearly and recommend practical next steps.
The weight isn’t the goal. It’s the evidence.
Plenty of collectors weigh what they pick up. On its own, a weight is a number on an invoice — it doesn’t change what goes in the bin. What matters is what the data does next: educating the people using the bins, cutting contamination, shrinking the landfill stream.
So we built the measurement into the collection itself. Nothing is estimated after the fact, and nothing is re-keyed by hand between the truck and your report.
Weighed at the lift
Every bin is weighed as it is emptied, against your site and the stream it came from.
Logged, not estimated
Weights land straight in one record instead of being back-calculated from bin volume.
Contamination flagged
When the wrong material turns up, it is recorded at the collection it happened on, with the cause noted.
Reported and re-measured
You get the month in writing with a practical fix, and the next month’s weights show whether it worked.
One record per collection
Site, date, stream, weight and any contamination flag are captured together, so the monthly report assembles itself out of real collections.
Trends, not snapshots
Each month sits alongside the last, so diversion is a line you can follow and defend rather than a one-off figure.
Numbers you can hand on
Formatted for board packs, tenant updates and sustainability reporting, so nobody has to rebuild the figures in a spreadsheet.
