General waste
A weight off your site
General waste, weighed every lift.
The stream we work hardest to shrink — reliable collection in the bin sizes your site needs, managed, scheduled or on-call, while your monthly report shows what could be diverted out of it.
A service that flexes with your volume.
From 120 L wheelie bins to 3 m³ front-loaders, on the schedule your volumes justify.
Right-sized over time.
What goes in — and what stays out.
If it can be diverted, it has its own stream. That’s how the general bin shrinks.
General-waste questions, answered.
Which bin size do I need?
From 120 L to a 3 m³ front-loader — we recommend based on your volume and access, and adjust as your report shows.
Can I change collection frequency?
Yes — managed (sensor-triggered), scheduled or on-call, adjusted seasonally or after an overflow.
What's excluded from general waste?
Clean recyclables, cardboard, e-waste and batteries, plus hazardous, liquid and medical waste — these have their own streams or need separate handling.
Can broken glass go in general waste?
Broken crockery and glassware, yes. We don't collect glass as a separate recycling stream, so keep it out of the recycling bin.
What if the bin is contaminated?
It's flagged in your monthly report with a practical fix. Repeat contamination is discussed with you before anything is charged.
What happens if my volume drops?
We can down-size the bin or reduce frequency — the report shows when.
Right-size your general waste service.
